When the giant storm came, cold as ice, the elephant herd had to move southwards.  One of the youngest wasn't strong enough to follow them, so with a heavy heart his mother left him in care of an ancient ash with whom she had become friends.  What a brilliant decision! He would keep the child safe and warm until the elephants would return in spring. And this was only one of his remarkable skills!
